Bourbon Maple Caramelized Apples

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, sliced or diced
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of PRESTIGE bourbon-flavored maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Pecans or walnuts, optional

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the apples and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add the PRESTIGE bourbon-flavored maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Let the apples caramelize gently until tender.
  5. Add pecans or walnuts, if desired.
  6. Serve warm.
