Maple Sugar Pie

Ingredients
6 SERVINGS

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup of Prestige Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 pie shell

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cook the pie shell 12 to 15 minutes or until golden then set aside
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan
  4. Add the flour and mix vigorously
  5. Add maple syrup while mixing
  6. Add water and stir mixture over high heat until thickened
  7. Put the filling in the pie shell
  8. Cool in refrigerator and top with whipped cream
