Maple BBQ Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of chili sauce (Heinz)
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of soy sauce
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) of garlic powder
  • 4 salmon fillets, about 150 g each

Preparation

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chili sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the salmon fillets flesh-side down (skin-side up) on the hot grill.
  4. Cook until the salmon releases easily from the grill (about 6 minutes).
  5. Flip the fillets and generously brush them with the sauce.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the fillets cook for about 4 minutes on the still-hot grill, allowing the sauce to set and glaze onto the salmon.
  7. Serve with grilled vegetables and/or rice.
